Multiplayer game
A competitive multiplayer arena where crypto enthusiasts predict token price movements to emerge as the ultimate winner.
Gameplay and Rules
Tournament set-up
There will be multiple rooms, each with a maximum of 10 players. The game will have an infinite number of rounds, each taking less time than the previous one. After each round, half of the players with the lowest score are removed from the game. There will be a 20-second waiting time between each round before the new round starts, and all the predictions from the previous round will be closed.
Game flow
During a round, all players start with 1000 points and can place as many predictions as they can, based on the number of points he has available. To place a prediction, you will input the number of points to use and whether the price will go up or down based on the current value of the token. After 10 seconds, the price will be compared with the initial value, and if the user is right, he will get double the points back into his account (if not, he will lose all the points used for the prediction). If he’s right multiple times in a row (3+), he will get a multiplier on the winning point (1.1x … 1.5x max). Once he makes a wrong prediction, he will lose all the strikes and start with a 1x multiplier again.
Additional Rules
Note 1: If, for example, there are 3 players, 1st with 10 points, 2nd with 8 points, and 3rd with 8 points, no players are removed from the current round. Note 2: If no players are removed 3 rounds in a row, then the game is finished, and players with the same number of points will be sorted based on who was the first player to reach that amount of points
Note 3: If moving to the next round will cut the number of players below the number of prizes, the game will stop, and based on the leaderboard, the prizes will go to the winners
Note 4: If there are 7 players for example, and we need to remove half, we’ll remove 3 and keep 4
Note 5: If a player doesn’t make any prediction in the current round, he will be removed from the game as inactive
Prize distribution
Depending on the number of players in the game, the prize distribution will be different: 1-3 players - 1st place 100% 4-6 players - 1st place 70%, 2nd place 30% 7-10 players - 1st place 55%, 2nd place 30%, 3rd place 15%
On top of the prize pool that is distributed between winners, all players who participated in the game will receive points in the weekly leaderboard that will count towards their weekly $EARN allocation. Read more in Events, Leaderboards and Rewards
